Terms and Conditions

All Mythic Travel Tours are land package only, starting and ending in Istanbul unless otherwise noted. The price quoted is double occupancy in luxury hotels, including two meals per day, all museum entrance fees, porterage, restaurant tips, taxes and transportation. That means that all the money you have to bring is for lunches and shopping. Single supplement is available and may be required if you are traveling alone. Our itineraries provide a physically active daily program: climbing stairs, walking on uneven and potentially slippery surfaces.

Reservations Space on our popular tours is limited, so in order to assure your place, please fill out the Application Form, and return it to Mythic Travel. Enclose a deposit check in the amount of $500 for each place reserved to guarantee your space, or charge your deposit using our secure PayPal account.

Mythic Travel accepts major credit cards, check, or money order.
Hotel information will be sent four weeks prior to departure.

Payment Schedule: A $500 deposit is due when you make your reservation. The balance of land and applicable air charges is due 45 days before departure of your tour.

Mythic Travel may accept late payments up to two weeks prior to departure on a space available basis subject to a $300 assessment. If you enroll for a tour after its Closing date has passed, you will be put on a space available basis and an additional charge of $300 will be assessed to cover late changes to our hotel and transportation guarantees.

Cancellation and Refunds: You can get a full refund if you cancel in writing postmarked before the Closing Date of the tour. No refunds will be made after the Closing Date, but you may fill your place with a substitute. If payment in full, or notification of withdrawal in writing, is not received by the Closing Date, Mythic Travel will cancel your place on the tour and no refund will be made.

Insurance Mythic Travel recommends that tour participants purchase travel insurance covering tour cancellation, delay, baggage loss and medical coverage.

Limitations of Liability These paragraphs together with the Release of Liability of the application form define Mythic Travel's responsibility with respect to all our tours. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. Payment of your deposit represents your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Mythic Travel purchases all services including transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants and other services from independent suppliers who are not affiliated with Mythic Travel in any way. Although Mythic Travel endeavors to choose the best suppliers available, we have no right to control their operations and therefore Mythic Travel offers our tours upon the express conditions that Mythic Travel and its agents and employees shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, bodily injury or death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual providing these services.

Mythic Travel shall not be liable for: 1) expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the individual tour itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to, or following a tour, when caused by clients' travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections or by other factors not under Mythic Travel's control; 2) expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by airlines, belongings left behind on a tour, or in shipping purchases or other goods home from abroad; 3) personal expenses incurred by a client during the tour. 4) bodily injury or property damage, inconvenience, or expense caused by or resulting from occurrences, negligent or otherwise, due to the malfunction of transportation equipment, strikes, acts of God, war or civil strife, delays, fire, theft, changes in government regulations.

Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the tour members. Mythic Travel reserves the right to substitute hotels, alter the itinerary and revise the order of places to be visited. Mythic Travel reserves the right to to take photographic or film records of any of our tours and may use such records for promotional or commercial purposes.

Mythic Travel or its agents reserves the right to decline or accept any person judged to be incapable or meeting the requirements of participating in the activities of the tour or any person whose actions or deportment impede tour operations or the rights, welfare and enjoyment of other tour participants. A pro-rata refund based on cost of unused land services is the limit of Mythic Travel's responsibility in such a case. This constitutes full and final settlement.

In the event that a tour is canceled, the refund of all land payments shall release Mythic Travel from any further liability.
