Day 1 Fly to Adana. Visit the mosaic museum in Antioch. Overnight in Gaziantep.

Day 2 Visit Zeugma to see the Roman villas which are being excavated and preserved because of the flooding of the Euphrates River. Travel on to Gobeklitepe, a neolithic site dating to 8000 bce to see a unique floor relief of a squatting woman, perhaps giving birth, and megalithic pillars bearing the image of snarling lions. Overnight in Urfa.

Day 3 Visit the cave in Urfa, where it is believed that Abraham was born, the mosque named after him, and Harran, the legendary home of Abraham. Overnight in Kahta.

Day 4 Drive to the peak of Mt. Nemrut to visit the monumental statues on the tumulus grave of King Antiochus, and the fascinating remains of the Commagene kingdom. Overnight in Kahta.

Day 5 Drive to Gaziantep for evening flight to Istanbul.

Day 6 Transfer to airport and depart for home.
